Getting to Pearson overnight

Public transit to Pearson does not run around the clock at full service. The TTC's 300A Bloor-Danforth night bus serves both terminals through the small hours, roughly every 30 minutes, for a single fare - useful for a red-eye or a very early departure when the UP Express and the 900 are not running. For a 4am flight with bags, though, a prebooked flat-rate car stays the least stressful option: it comes to your door on time, with no connections to catch in the dark.

Hidden costs to watch

The headline-cheapest options often carry hidden costs. The UP Express is inexpensive to Union, but you still need to reach Union and then get from there to your final address - two extra legs in time and fare. The TTC is cheapest of all but slow and awkward with luggage.

Park-and-fly looks cheap per day until a week's parking, fuel and the lot shuttle add up. When you tally the whole door-to-door journey - especially split across a family or group - a flat-rate car is often closer in cost than it first appears, with none of the transfers.
